Roblox Launches First Parent and Caregiver Council

Now Recruiting Parents to Help Shape Products and Policies, and to Champion Civility

Today, we’re excited to announce our inaugural Parent Council, a key part of our vision to build the safest place on the internet and foster a positive environment for users of all ages. Roblox’s first Parent Council will bring together up to 40 parents and caregivers from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and all European countries with the goal of expanding to other regions in the future. Council members will serve as advocates for digital well-being and advisers on safety and civility. This initiative is the latest step in our civility efforts to empower families to use technology safely and responsibly. It follows the creation of a Head of Parental Advocacy role earlier this year and the launch of updated parental controls

Similar to our Teen Council, Parent Council participants will collaborate with Roblox’s internal teams to provide perspectives on platform features, policies, and resources. Our Teen Council has provided invaluable insights, and we’re excited to hear directly from parents and caregivers with this new program. Once selected, the Parent Council will meet once per quarter to offer their perspectives and serve as a voice for parents in their regions, bringing forward concerns, positive feedback, and suggestions for improvements. Parents and caregivers who have some familiarity with Roblox, have a strong proficiency in English, and are residents of the relevant regions can apply here now through midnight PT on October 26, 2025.

“As an expert in digital parenting, I am thrilled to be leading the first-ever parent and caregiver program dedicated to getting real-time feedback from parents to help make the Roblox platform more relevant and supportive for families—and to empower parents with the knowledge and skills required to guide their children to be savvy and safe online,” said Dr. Elizabeth Milovidov, Head of Parental Advocacy.

Interested parents and caregivers can apply here for the program, which will run from January to December 2026. Applications are due by Sunday, October 26, 2025, at midnight PT.
