Halloween Spotlight: Roblox’s latest platform event celebrates the scariest Halloween updates.

From October 23 through November 3, users can brave the dark forest and try their luck at escaping the darkness.

Users will earn runes and keys (which are online tokens) as they navigate the darkness, unlocking exclusive items for their avatar.
To celebrate Halloween, we’re inviting users to the latest platform-wide event, highlighting some of our creators’ most creative, scariest games. From now until November 3, users can join the Halloween Spotlight and explore the darkness—a haunted forest filled with ghoulish encounters, trials, and gateways to some of the biggest and boldest Halloween updates across the platform.
From the event’s main entry point, the Cursed Clearing, users venture into the darkness and join one of more than 30 games representing different genres, including:

Adopt Me by Uplift Games: Explore a fully transformed Adoption Island with three Halloween minigames, new pets, and pet taming.

PETAPETA: School of Nightmares by Omichi Studios: Battle a Halloween-themed monster, collect pumpkins, and exchange them for exclusive Halloween items.

Dress to Impress by Dress to Impress Group: Strut through the new Halloween update with themed clothes, runway effects, and an extra special Lana Lore quest.

Restaurant Tycoon 3 by Ultraw: Serve up new Halloween dishes and decorate the restaurant with spooky seasonal furniture.
In the darkness, paths lead users to gateways into Halloween-themed games. Completing quests within these games rewards users with runes and keys that unlock additional paths—runes unlock regular paths; keys unlock harder elite paths. By completing these paths, users can earn exclusive avatar items. To escape the darkness (and finish the event), they must conquer the Final Curse.
