    David Baszucki,

    Founder + CEO

    David Baszucki is the founder and CEO of Roblox. A pioneer in powering the imaginations of people around the world, Baszucki has helped champion millions of young and up-and-coming developers in the video game industry via the Roblox platform. His vision has given birth to a new genre of entertainment that seamlessly integrates user-generated content, social play, and the latest cross-platform technologies.  

    Today, Roblox supports over 50 million monthly active users and has powered over 11.7 billion hours played since 2008. Roblox is driven to build the future of play, allowing kids of all ages to create fun, imaginative experiences for the entire world to enjoy. In 2017, Roblox was named to the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America for the second consecutive year.  

    Baszucki graduated from Stanford University as a General Motors Scholar in Electrical Engineering. He currently resides in Portola Valley, California with his wife, Jan Ellison, and their four children.

    Chief Business Officer

    Craig Donato is the Chief Business Officer at Roblox. He currently oversees the business functions of Roblox that include: Business & Corporate Development, Developer Relations, Brand Partnerships, Marketing, PR, and Care & Safety.

    Prior to Roblox, Donato led Business Development and Monetization at Nextdoor, a social network for neighborhoods. He also was the CEO and co-founder of Oodle, a local community marketplace that was acquired by QVC in 2012.

    Donato holds an MBA from Stanford Business School and BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Mike Guthrie is the Chief Financial Officer at Roblox, leading the company's finance, accounting, and business operations functions. A veteran of Silicon Valley, Guthrie has spent nearly 30 years operating, investing in, and advising technology companies.

    Prior to joining Roblox, Guthrie was the CFO of TrueCar, Inc. from January 2012 until February 2018. At TrueCar, he led the company through multiple rounds of private financing and spearheaded the company's initial public offering in 2014. Prior to TrueCar, he was a private equity investor at TPG and Garnett and Helfrich Capital, where he focused on growth equity investing and middle market buyouts.

    Guthrie holds his BA from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

    Jennifer Hedding is the Chief People Officer at Roblox, where she is committed to building an innovative, high-performance company culture that attracts, retains, and inspires top level talent. A 20-year leader in strategically elevating the workplace experience, Hedding is known for successfully spearheading global business initiatives during times of hyper growth and transformation.

    In her previous role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in California, she worked closely with leadership to restructure the company, integrate multiple acquisitions and successfully spin off two business units. Previously, Hedding held executive level leadership roles at Yahoo and Salesforce. Early career experiences were formed at Softbank, Excite@Home and Apple, where she honed her Recruitment, HR Operations and International expertise. Hedding is also a member of the Industry Advisory Committee at BetterWorks.

    Hedding received a B.S. from California State University, Northridge.

    Chris Misner,

    President, Roblox International

    Chris Misner leads international growth at Roblox, bringing 20 years of experience from iconic Silicon Valley companies ranging from Netscape to Apple.

    Misner spent six years running Apple's e-commerce business across all of Asia, including launching the Apple Online Store in China and growing it to multi-billions in revenue. Prior to his time in Asia, he was responsible for Apple's online store expansion in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. He also held a variety of roles at venture-funded start-ups Good Technology, Backflip, and Netscape Communications.

    Misner has an AB Architecture from Princeton University, an MBA from Wharton, and an MA International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

    Adam Miller,

    VP of Engineering, Technology

    Adam Miller is the Vice President of Engineering, Technology at Roblox. He is responsible for the Roblox Game Engine, the Roblox Studio development tools, and the mobile and console engineering teams.

    Prior to Roblox, Miller served as Director of Engineering at Intertrust, developing digital rights management technology and directing development of an incubated startup. Previously, he created the MMO Star Sonata, acquired by Landauer Games.

    Miller holds a BS in Computer Science from Yale University.

    Jared Shapiro,

    VP of Engineering, Platform

    Jared Shapiro is the Vice President of Engineering for the Platform Team at Roblox and is responsible for the web engineering team, core platform technology, the user-facing website, mobile applications, internal tools, platform APIs, and BI/Analytics infrastructure.

    Previously, Shapiro was VP of Engineering at Sonic Boom, an early leader in mobile games and personalization applications. After Sonic Boom, he led the central technology group at RockYou and was later VP of Engineering at Bitesize Networks.

    He holds BA and BFA degrees from New School University.

    Dan Williams,

    VP of Corporate and Production Engineering

    Dan Williams is the Vice President of Corporate and Production Engineering at Roblox, leading the evolution of the company’s high-scale social platform infrastructure. Leveraging his twenty years of professional data center and networking experience, Williams is responsible for scaling Roblox’s global infrastructure to support a growing community of millions of players.

    Prior to joining Roblox, Williams held various senior leadership positions managing technology infrastructures at Dropbox, the San Francisco 49ers, and Facebook, where he played an instrumental role scaling the company’s growth from 10 million to 750 million monthly active users.

    Williams received his BS in Business Management from Menlo College.

    Matt Kaufman,

    VP of Product for Platform

    Matt Kaufman is the Vice President of Product for Platform at Roblox. With over two decades of executive leadership experience building highly successful marketplace platforms, enterprise SaaS applications, and large-scale multiplayer games, he is responsible for directing the company’s overall strategic vision for discovery, monetization, international expansion, and kid safety.

    In his previous role at Crunchbase, he defined the company’s strategic vision, built partnerships, and assembled the team that executed a successful spinout from AOL. Kaufman also held various executive roles leading engineering and product management teams at companies including Oodle, edgeio, and There.com.

    He holds a BS in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from UC Davis and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.

    VP of Developer Relations

    Grace Francisco is the Vice President of Developer Relations at Roblox. She is responsible for leading developer and educational programs and engaging with a growing community of over two million developers to empower them across multiple platforms.

    A seasoned developer relations leader with over 12 years of experience, she has co-authored three patents and led worldwide developer initiatives at Microsoft, Intuit, and Atlassian. Prior to joining Roblox, she established Atlassian’s Global Developer Relations organization to nurture and expand their rapidly growing developer community. She is also a celebrated diversity advocate, establishing and driving diversity programs, including mentoring rings, at Microsoft and Atlassian.

    Francisco graduated cum laude and holds a BBA in Business Management from Golden Gate University.

    Tami Bhaumik,

    VP of Marketing & Community Safety

    Tami Bhaumik is the Vice President of Marketing and Community Safety at Roblox, bringing over 25 years of consumer and high tech marketing experience to the team. She is responsible for brand marketing, digital and social media efforts, public relations, and events.

    Bhaumik has launched and been responsible for the growth of many start-ups, including Sling Media, Anki, Ooma, and Lyve Minds, and also comes with deep ad agency expertise at Saatchi & Saatchi and J. Walter Thompson. She’s passionate about growing companies that have disruptive technologies that enhance people’s day-to-day lives.

    Bhaumik is a graduate of UC Berkeley.

    SVP of Business Development

    Scott Rubin is the Senior Vice President, Business Development at Roblox, managing all business development partnerships and licensing activities. He brings 15+ years of experience working in the digital entertainment, video game and mobile industries, as well as 20+ years in the internet and technology sectors. 

    Prior to joining Roblox, Rubin held various executive roles at Livescribe, Huawei, Namco Bandai, and SEGA. He spent much of his career at Namco Bandai, the largest entertainment company in Japan, building their North American mobile and digital games division. 

    Rubin also has a strong international business background; he lived and worked in Japan earlier in his career, and he is proficient in the Japanese language.

    VP of Care & Safety

    Remy Malan is the Vice President of Care and Safety at Roblox, overseeing Customer Service and Content Moderation. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience to the team, building high-performing customer-focused organizations. 

    Remy was previously the Chief Customer Officer at SugarCRM, where he was instrumental in ensuring the success of its customers’ CRM implementations. He has also held other customer-facing executive roles at companies such as Teleplace, a 3D collaboration environment featuring user-generated content for education and training, and AOL Time Warner. Malan is passionate about creating great experiences for customers and finding new ways to engage with them.

    Malan received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    VP of Finance

    Hans Gunawan is the Vice President of Finance at Roblox, and is responsible for the FP&A and Accounting teams.

    Prior to Roblox, he was Director of Finance at SugarCRM and Skyline Solar. He grew up in South East Asia, is an avid gamer, and has an (underutilized) Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI.

    Gunawan holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BSc in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

    Ari Staiman,

    General Counsel

    Ari Staiman is an international e-commerce and global video game veteran, both on the business and legal sides, for 20+ years. He has lived, worked, and helped launch and run successful operations in Asia, Europe, Middle East, and the Americas.

    On the business side, he served as President of SEGA Amusement Works and SVP, General Manager of Borderfree (NASDAQ: BRDR) for its China and Ireland branches. On the legal side, he was global General Counsel of the SEGA group companies and Borderfree’s global General Counsel (looking over 220 countries, bringing them from startup, through IPO to acquisition).

    Staiman is a graduate of UC Berkeley.

    Christina Wootton is the Vice President of Sales at Roblox, overseeing digital advertising for the national sales team.

    Bringing more than a decade of sales experience in digital advertising and promotional marketing, she has worked closely with Fortune 500 companies creating successful kids advertising programs, as well as built strong relationships with Disney, Fox, Sony, and Universal Pictures. Prior to Roblox, she was the West Coast Sales Director at Stardoll Media partnering with brands such as Mattel and Disney Channel/XD on custom advertising programs to drive sales and tune-in.

    Wootton graduated from California State University Long Beach.
