David Baszucki

David Baszucki is the founder and CEO of Roblox. His vision is to build a platform that enables shared experiences among billions of users.

The company has been widely recognized for its innovation and vision under Baszucki’s leadership. TIME named Roblox one of the “100 Most Influential Companies,” and it has been recognized by Fast Company for innovation on their “Most Innovative Companies” and “Most Innovative Companies in Gaming” lists. Roblox was also recognized as an innovative workplace on Fast Company’s “Best Workplaces for Innovators” list and for its technical innovations on Fast Company’s “Innovation by Design” list.

Previously, David founded Knowledge Revolution, where he and his brother Greg created “Interactive Physics,” a leader in educational physics and mechanical design simulation software. David graduated from Stanford University as a General Motors Scholar in Electrical Engineering.

Manuel Bronstein

Manuel Bronstein serves as Chief Product Officer at Roblox, leading our Product, Design, and Data Science organizations.

Manuel has spent over 20 years as a product leader in the consumer and entertainment spaces, most recently serving as Vice President of Product at Google, leading Google Assistant. Prior to that, Manuel was Vice President of Product at YouTube, overseeing the company’s mobile, desktop, and living room applications, as well as live streaming, growth, and community. He also led efforts to launch YouTube Kids, YouTube Music, and YouTube Games. Before YouTube, Manuel started his career in gaming holding several senior leadership positions at Zynga and Xbox.

Manuel holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Craig Donato

Craig Donato serves as Chief Business Officer for Roblox. He leads the growth of our platform on a global scale, driving brand awareness and engagement, ensuring the safety and success of our player and developer communities, and establishing a healthy ecosystem for creators to build immersive experiences. He oversees the company’s brand partnerships, care and safety, and developer relations teams.

Prior to Roblox, Craig led business development and monetization at Nextdoor, a social network for neighborhoods. He was also the CEO and co-founder of Oodle, a local community marketplace that was acquired by QVC in 2012.

Craig graduated with an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Mike Guthrie

Mike Guthrie serves as Chief Financial Officer at Roblox. He is scaling our business on a global level, defining our overall financial strategy; driving sustained, profitable growth; and securing new business opportunities. Mike leads Roblox’s finance, accounting, business & corporate development functions.

Prior to joining Roblox, he was the Chief Financial Officer of TrueCar, Inc. where he led the company through multiple rounds of private financing and spearheaded its initial public offering in 2014. Previously, he was a private equity investor at TPG and Garnett and Helfrich Capital where he focused on growth equity investing and middle market buyouts.

Mike graduated with an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.

Matt Kaufman

Matt Kaufman serves as Chief Systems Officer at Roblox, overseeing the systems and processes for our People, Talent, IT, Operations, and Assessment teams. Matt also helps direct and streamline how we set our company-wide priorities, and how we review and scale our systems to keep pace with our global growth.

Matt has over 20 years of executive leadership experience, building highly successful marketplace platforms, enterprise SaaS applications, and large-scale multiplayer games for companies including Crunchbase, Oodle, edgeio, and There.com.

Matt earned a BS in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from UC Davis and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Barbara Messing

As Chief Marketing & People Experience Officer, Barbara Messing leads all aspects of marketing, communications, and employee experience operations at Roblox. She is responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s global brand strategy to drive innovation and continued growth and establish Roblox as one of the most beloved brands in the world among kids and teens.

Prior to Roblox, Barbara spent the last two decades serving in a number of leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Walmart U.S. and TripAdvisor. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Overstock.com and Vacasa.

Barbara holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA from Northwestern University.

Mark Reinstra

As General Counsel for Roblox, Mark Reinstra leads a team that enables and supports Roblox’s global growth including its international expansion, privacy and data security, and care and safety efforts.

Prior to joining Roblox, Mark was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he practiced corporate and securities law for 25 years. Mark began working with Roblox as its outside counsel in 2005. Mark currently teaches New Venture Finance at UC Berkeley School of Law. He also taught at Stanford Law School and lectured at the Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley as well as Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

Mark received his JD from Stanford Law School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Daniel Sturman

As Chief Technology Officer at Roblox, Dan Sturman heads up a world-class team of engineering leaders in our App, Engine, Developer, International, Economy, Safety, and Platform Engineering groups.

Prior to joining Roblox, Dan served as Vice President of Engineering & Support at Cloudera, where he led a team of 600+ engineers and oversaw all software development and customer support. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Google, where he led the development of cloud products including Google Compute Engine, Google App Engine, and Kubernetes, as well as the internal cluster management systems that manage Google’s fleet of servers.

Dan holds a Ph.D. and MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University.
