Roblox offers students the opportunity to actively engage in the creative process and learn fundamental coding, design, and entrepreneurial skills that will give them the confidence to excel in school and beyond. Our free creation tools and educational content can be used to teach these skills as standalone subjects or integrated across multidisciplinary programs.
iD Tech offers three unique courses designed to empower students to discover the underlying mechanics of game development in a collaborative environment. Using Roblox Studio, students will create themes, storylines, objectives, goals, and more, then publish their games online. Meanwhile, advanced students will dive into more complex Lua coding and multiplayer development.
Code Kingdoms provides an online-exclusive program for students and educators across the world. With its proprietary web-based drag-and-drop code editor, kids age 8+ can learn how to develop their own games using Roblox Studio and the Lua programming language. New courses are added regularly.
CodaKid provides both in-person camps and online coding courses. Students will get to build a variety of multiplayer experiences on Roblox using the Lua programming language, mastering conditionals, loops, arrays, and inheritance. Using Roblox Studio, kids will be able to program their own games, learn about 3D modeling, create their own terrain, and more.
Digital Media Academy offers a one-week course that allows students age 10-14 to learn how to create 3D platforming-based games using Roblox Studio and the Lua programming language. Students will work in teams to make environments, textures, and scripts to create a full game experience.
Koding Kingdom offers a Hong Kong-based two-month after-school program and one-week camp for students age 10-15. Using Roblox Studio, students will work together in teams to learn programming fundamentals through Lua and apply game design rules to create more engaging games.
Camp Edmo leverages the educational power of Roblox to inspire students from K-8th Grade to build basic computer skills and learn fundamental coding concepts. Offering three courses in locations throughout California, campers will explore Roblox worlds and learn about game design, 3D modeling, and more.
