iD Tech offers two courses that empower students to discover the underlying mechanics of game development. Using Roblox Studio, students will create storylines, objectives, and more. Meanwhile, advanced students will learn more about complex Lua coding, multiplayer development, and entrepreneurship.
Code Kingdoms provides an online-exclusive program for students and educators across the world. With its proprietary web-based drag-and-drop code editor, kids age 8+ can learn how to develop their own games using Roblox Studio and the Lua programming language. New courses are added regularly.
StreetCode Academy offers a free game design course for kids between the ages of 8-12. Led by a professional developer in the video game industry, the class teaches students how to create their own Roblox games, the different elements of a game, and how to talk about their favorite games through a critical lens.
AlvinBlox is a renowned Roblox game developer who provides a series of free tutorial videos on YouTube to teach beginners ages 8 and up how to code and make their own games from scratch—no prior experience or knowledge required. Code Ninjas allows students between the ages of 7-14 to learn real programming skills in a fun, safe, and inspiring learning environment. Offering year-round drop-in programs and week-long summer camps, students can advance from a white belt to a black belt as they gain more skill with Roblox Studio.
CODDY is an international programming school that offers an after school, online, and workshop class for students between the ages of 7-9. Students will learn Lua programming skills, how to develop a game, and how to manage a game project.
RoboCode Academy offers camps and after-school workshops that teach students ages 10-18 game development using Lua. Over the course of twelve weeks, students will learn all stages of game design, including brainstorming, testing, and presentation.

Based in Tallinn, Estonia, Digi’sCool provides a series of fun courses for kids and teens to learn how to code and design games on Roblox with a focus on teamwork. The first is an introductory programming course for students age 8+; the second teaches students age 11+ more advanced coding, design, and 3D modeling skills.
AccelerateKID’s mission is to empower youth with entrepreneurship and tech ed to become future innovators. Students, grades 5-8, will learn to develop 3D space using the Roblox Studio editor and Lua scripting language. Gamers design their own games with objects and items using computer programming.
