Learn with Roblox

Roblox offers students the opportunity to actively engage in the creative process and learn fundamental coding, design, and entrepreneurial skills that will give them the confidence to excel in school and beyond. Our free creation tools and educational content can be used to teach these skills as stand-alone subjects or integrated across multidisciplinary programs.

iD Tech offers three unique courses designed to empower students to discover the underlying mechanics of game development in a collaborative environment. Using Roblox Studio, students will create themes, storylines, objectives, goals, and more, then publish their games online. Meanwhile, advanced students will dive into more complex Lua coding and multiplayer development.

With both in-person camps and online offerings, CodaKid campers will create their very own multiplayer games for Roblox using the Lua programming language. Kids will program their very own Adventure Maps and Player versus Player (PvP) Maps while mastering function, conditionals, and loops in Lua.

Digital Media Academy offers a one-week course that allows students age 10-14 to learn how to create 3D platforming-based games using editing tools like Roblox Studio and programming with Lua. Students will work in teams to make environments, textures, and scripts to create a full game experience.

Koding Kingdom offers a Hong Kong-based two-month after-school program and one-week camp for students age 10-15. Using Roblox Studio, students will work together in teams to learn programming fundamentals through Lua and apply game design rules to create more engaging games.
